Capsule is excited to announce August’s Think + Link for a Living session with Tim Brunelle, CEO of Hello Viking.

About Tim’s Presentation:
The most important thing to know about Improvisation is that it is learned. You can learn how to improvise and leverage its benefits in life and business. The second most important lesson is that Improvisation is in the now—it is about the present and future. We don’t improvise in the past. These are some of the themes we’re going to talk about at the next Think + Link. The conversation will be useful and applicable to business strategy, ideas, meetings, productivity and culture.
Some background: Tim has a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz from the University of Cincinnati. More to the point, Improvisation is a subject he continues to study and has taught in the context of creative thinking at several colleges. It’s a subject he employs in his work in advertising and film making.
About Tim Brunelle
Since 1992, Tim has been at the forefront of marketing innovation and storytelling. He’s developed brand strategy, directed films, written and directed advertising, design and user experience for marketers including PwC, Harley-Davidson, Goodyear, Porsche, Anheuser-Busch, 3M, Sears, Ameriprise and MetLife. Tim also spent an additional eight years helping lead Volkswagen’s “Drivers wanted” campaign in North America.
Tim has worked for agencies including Crispin Porter Bogusky, Carmichael Lynch, Ogilvy, Arnold, McKinney, and TBWA. In 2007 Tim co-founded Hello Viking, which spurs agencies and marketers to grow by integrating strategy, creativity and technology. He is co-owner and creative director of BannerPalooza, an online banner ad production shop. He is also a partner at the marketing software firm Curation Station.
